★ Do you offer day trips to Isle Royale National Park?

Day trips to Isle Royale require perfect weather all day, so we only offer these short trips on a case-by-case basis. Our specialty is multi-day, all-inclusive excursions.

★ How long does it take to get to Isle Royale?

On calm water, less than 1.5hrs. No more than 3hrs.

★ How much does a trip to ISRO cost?

All trips start at $2,000. Booking longer trips with more guests finds you the best savings (per person, per day).

​​★ How many people can go on an Isle Royale trip?

Six (6) passengers max-- including children of any age.Transportation-ONLY trips may have more, and are decided on a case-by-case basis as coordinated with the NPS.

★ Can I book a local Lake Superior fishing charter?

Fishing charters may only be scheduled over the phone. They are non-definite, we will not hold deposits, and we will not make any guarantee to go out fishing that day. Our schedule between other real-world jobs and commitments prevents us from easily fulfilling these short charters. However, you may be "penciled in" on a case-by-case basis.

★ What should I bring?

A Michigan fishing license for anyone 17+, a change of warm clothes, and your favorite snacks & drinks. For Isle Royale, please consider bringing a pillow, toothbrush, and coffee cup. Please visit our Isle Royale page for details, or read the PDF guide below.

★ Do I need to bring fishing gear?

We provide all fishing gear & tackle, but if you have something tried & true, feel free to bring it along!

​

★ Do we have to fish the whole time?

You can split your time between boating, fishing, hiking & adventuring at any point!

★ Where do you launch from?

Isle Royale trips typically launch from the Eagle Harbor Marina (which does not have cell service). We can launch from anywhere, including Lac la Belle, Copper Harbor, Lily Pond, Big Traverse, South Entry, or Chassell, and more. We can trailer the boat anywhere in Michigan for additional costs!

★ How many fish can I catch?

You can catch 3 of the same species, or 5 combo.

​

★ Can we keep the fish?

Yes, as long as they follow within guidelines. Trophy fish WILL BE RELEASED. We can help you find a taxidermist to replicate the mount.

​​★ What is the weather like near Lake Superior?

Lake Superior is so massive it creates its own lake effect, weather patterns, and climate. Prepare for ALL weather, sometimes without warning.
