★ Lake Superior is cold year-round.
    • Even in summer, bring warm layers and a spare change of clothes.
    • Guests are welcome to bring their own snacks and beverages.

★ Fishing licenses:
    • Anyone age 17 or older must possess a valid Michigan fishing license when applicable.
    • Licenses may be purchased through the Michigan DNR HERE.

★ Fish cleaning included:
    • We fillet and bag all fish you keep — included with your trip.

Deposits, Prepaid Trips & Cancellations

★ Deposits are applied to your total trip cost and secure your reservation.
Your remaining balance is due on trip day.
We do not store credit card information — please be prepared to pay your balance at the conclusion of your adventure.

★ Deposits are considered earned upon booking.

★ Prepaid trips (paid in full at booking) are non-refundable, but may be transferred to another date or guest and never expire, subject to availability.

★ Guests who pay in full at booking receive:
• Priority access to the best available weather window within their scheduled date range
• One complimentary reschedule without penalty (subject to availability)
• One complimentary trip add-on: The Captain’s Log entry, a well-documented journal entry of your entire adventure

★ Cancellation terms:
• Cancellations 30+ days prior to your scheduled trip may be refunded minus non-refundable digital processing fees, except for Isle Royale trips
• Deposits are non-refundable within 30 days of the scheduled trip date
• Isle Royale deposits are non-refundable within 14 days due to permit limits, fuel costs, and scheduling constraints

Weather & Safety

★ All trips require safe, fishable marine conditions.
If the Captain must cancel for safety reasons, guests may choose:
• A deposit refund minus the 5% digital processing fee, or
• Reschedule their adventure

All scheduling decisions are made at the Captain’s discretion in accordance with marine safety standards.

Isle Royale Transportation Disclaimer

★ We are not a dedicated transportation service to or from Isle Royale.
However, on a case-by-case basis, and only when all other transportation options are exhausted, we may coordinate transport between the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and Isle Royale.
